For another, some forms of activism they've been doing, such as camping out at a local park refusing to leave, I disagree with for this location. The marches and such, raising awareness, I highly agree with and would participating. However, while I would totally back the civil disobedience of camping out and refusing to leave in Columbia, SC(where state laws are made), Wall St., and Washington, DC, I don't see the usefulness or practicality of doing it here in Charleston, where there are no big businesses headquartered here, with the possible exception of Boeing.Chadlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05561495615950922682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3065767415801756448.post-49058727550927253022011-12-06T02:56:54.300-05:002011-12-06T02:56:54.300-05:00Oh man I am so proud of you!!!! And yes, you will ...Oh man I am so proud of you!!!! And yes, you will remember this activism as a good moment in your life; a proud moment. And I know you will have many many more.

I only wish I had the ability to get involved when we had a protest here. It wasn't publicized very well. I only heard about it after the fact. It was in the downtown business district where there is a community park where people gathered and then walked all the way down the main road to a Bank of America office building and then back to the park. They did this several times from what I hear and there wasn't any violence or disorderly conduct here.

I really really wish I could have been there. I'm glad you got to be a part of it in your city, Chad.Angelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10724264061719518367noreply@blogger.com
